Sherry Clem - Case Manager
NBLE staff member Sherry Clem has been a passionate advocate helping injured folks for 17 years. As an experienced paralegal and licensed private investigator, she started working with Scott Blair in 1996. She helps injured individuals navigate their way through the challenges of dealing with excessive medical bills, complicated health care issues, lost income issues with employers and many other pressing matters that arise when one gets seriously injured.
Sherry is passionate about protecting the rights of clients under their insurance policy and requiring accountability from insurance carriers. She is well liked and respected by clients who find her a great listener, easy to relate to and speak with about any challenges that come up following a serious injury. She is also well respected by those in the insurance industry who know her level of integrity. Everyone respects the fact she is a strong advocate for our clients.
Sherry and her husband Wade have two teenage sons, and they are active in their kids' many sports activities. As an athlete herself, Sherry also remains active in adult softball leagues with her husband, and she knows the value of a strong team standing behind the folks she helps every day.
Deanna Delisanti - Firm Administrator
Deanna Delisanti has been working in the legal industry for over 25 years. She started out as a records coordinator working on a class action lawsuit, and she has grown into our firm administrator. She works hard overseeing the day-to-day business operations of Nelson, Blair, Langer, Engle.
Deanna makes certain our employees are given all the resources they might need to obtain great results for our clients. It is important to her that we maintain a positive work environment while producing great results and happy clients. She is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and Puget Sound Association of Legal Administrators.
Sabrina Horne - Legal Secretary
Sabrina Horne has been a legal secretary for over 20 years. She plays a dual role as legal secretary to Fred Langer and intake coordinator for our firm.
"I love my job and the variety it lends, especially the interaction I have with potential clients and those who eventually become our clients." Sabrina has special interest in cases that involve brain injury as she has a 16-year-old daughter with Moebius syndrome.
Gayline Vernon - Litigation Paralegal
With over 27 years of experience as a litigation paralegal and legal assistant, Gayline Vernon has a thorough understanding of the process involved in clients' cases from start to finish. Gayline has helped prepare scores of cases for trial, and she knows how important it is that your story be told as honestly and directly as possible to a judge, jury or arbitrator.
Gayline is well respected by the court clerks, medical professionals and defendant's paralegals she deals with on a daily basis when scheduling matters on a client's case. She is known for her pleasant way of relating to people. She worked with Scott Blair for 19 years before joining the NBLE team and is excited to bring her experience to help our clients get through the legal system and get the help they need.
Outside work, Gayline and her husband Dave have two kids. They are very active in their daughter's various sports and have spent many days watching her play in select volleyball tournaments.
Katie Green - Paralegal
Katie Green received her Paralegal Associate of Technical Arts Degree from Edmonds Community College, an American Bar Association approved program. Before becoming a paralegal, Katie worked in customer service management for over 15 years, and she knows the importance of listening to our clients and helping them get through what can be a difficult process.
Katie knows how to help our clients navigate the tough stretches that come with being seriously injured. With exceptional intellect, organizational skills and strong work ethic, Katie has the experience and talent to manage your case and give it the attention it requires. As a paralegal with NBLE, Katie knows how important it is to protect your dignity and help you get the peace of mind that comes with getting healthy again after a serious injury.
Katie takes the burden of dealing with insurance companies and medical providers off your back to help you focus on what is most important - you and your health. She will help manage your case, and with the rest of the NBLE team, get you back on your feet.
Mona Stanton - Medical Records Specialist
Mona Stanton is a graduate of Eastern Washington University. She majored in English with an emphasis on technical writing and worked in the finance and lending industry for many years. Mona brings extensive experience, outstanding organizational skills and a strong work ethic to Nelson, Blair, Langer, and Engle.
As our Medical Records Specialist, Mona works with healthcare providers to get our clients' medical and billing records. She confirms their completeness and then organizes and reviews them before passing them along to the attorney. Mona's hard work makes reviewing complicated medical and health information much more efficient so we can handle your case in a timely manner.
Monika Hin - PIP and Insurance Coordinator
Monika Hin has the primary goal of working with our clients, their doctors and the insurance companies to facilitate timely payment of treatment costs. She understands our clients have a lot to worry about. She is willing to help take some of that pressure off by coordinating the payment of their treatment bills to the appropriate insurer. Her desire to keep things organized and outlined, combined with her confidence, makes her a great ally to have on your team.
Bridget Hermano - Paralegal
Bridget Hermano received her Paralegal Associate of Technical Arts Degree from Edmonds Community College, an American Bar Association approved program. Before becoming a paralegal, Bridget worked as a legal assistant in the legal profession for five years, two of which were spent at NBLE. She is highly focused on customer satisfaction and making sure clients get the information and support needed when working with the firm.
Outside of work, Bridget is a voice instructor at the Live Music Academy in Federal Way. She loves to sing, song-write, play guitar, piano and drums. She also enjoys snowboarding and hiking throughout Washington's beautiful seasons.
Cassidy Todd - Receptionist
Cassidy Todd is likely the first person you talk to when you call NBLE as she manages the firm's communications and ensures the firm runs smoothly. She monitors the firm's records, mail and other communications to ensure your file is complete and ready for the next step toward your recovery.
Outside of work, she loves writing and literature and is the mother to a little boy. She enjoys spending time with him outside, hiking and playing at the parks.
Karmen Agnew - Paralegal
With over 20 years of experience as a paralegal in the personal injury field, Karmen Agnew has a thorough understanding of the litigation process and knows how to help our clients navigate the court system and the complicated relationships between medical providers and insurance companies. Karmen is a graduate of the University of Washington, with a degree in Society and Justice, and she is passionate about demanding justice for our clients. She is equally ardent about ensuring that clients feel supported and informed throughout the process. Karmen is well-respected in the legal community and known for being pleasant and cooperative to work with while zealously advocating for our clients.
Outside of work, Karmen and her husband have four children ranging in age from 26 to 13, which keeps them busy running from soccer to volleyball to track to cheerleading. In addition, Karmen is an avid runner and will take up a race for any cause whether it is a 3K with her kids or a half marathon. One day she hopes to find time to train for a full marathon.
